“You may choose to look the other way but you may never say again you didn’t know” -William Wilberforce.
When the truth and reality of a matter hits my heart in a significant way, I am moved to action. I cannot look the other direction.
The reality of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation is difficult to face, and yet we must. Society’s most vulnerable people groups (children, foster youth, runaways, victims of abuse, those in poverty, the marginalized) are at the highest risk and therefore, being trafficked into prostitution, porn, strip clubs, massage parlors and in online forums through force, fraud, and coercion.
I remember what it was like to be vulnerable and to feel trapped.
Here is a piece of my story…
I’m here today because one person decided not to look away.
Treasures chooses to not look away. We will turn our eyes and our hearts towards the women we serve. We will encourage their dreams and give them the resources and support needed to empower them as they grow, heal, and become all that they were created to be.
We need your help! Please give today so that together, we can ensure that they are seen, supported and empowered to experience freedom.
Will you continue to turn your heart and eyes towards those who have been trafficked and exploited?
