History

Treasures Ministries (Treasures) is a faith-based, survivor-led outreach and support group to women in the sex industry.

Harmony Dust, founded Treasures while completing a Master’s Degree in Social Work at UCLA in 2003, as a dream born from a broken past and a heart healed by the love of God.   Her memoir, Scars and Stilettos, gives an account of this process.

Each year The Treasures Team reaches 170 strip clubs, sex clubs and dominatrix clubs in the greater Los Angeles, Orange County and Las Vegas area. The gifts they bring into the clubs represent the heart of this organization, sending the message to each woman, “You are loved, valued and purposed!”

Treasures is located in the heart of the Adult Industry Capital of the World, in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles.  95% of all legal porn world-wide is filmed, distributed, and or manufactured here.

Treasures is the only organization of its kind in the Los Angeles area. All gifts, services, support, and referrals are provided to the women free of charge. Treasures operates as a volunteer driven, non-denominational, faith-based nonprofit organization funded completely by donations.

Since conception, through our outreach training program, Treasures has provided training for nearly 60 outreach affiliates throughout the US, Canada and Australia.
